Bar Congress is the middle ground between elegant-eatery and stylish bar. This midnight-styled bar represents sophistication to the core. The location has some of Austin’s prime talent, with bartenders whose mixtures bring a sense of wonder to the imagination. Every other drink you’ve had will pale in comparison. This bar knows how to party, and chill + vibe; check out this place during the Summer for specialty series of drinks.
Dry Creek Cafe & Boat Dock
Stop scrolling because this is the café you want to be at. Not quite a boat dock, but instead a café-styled caddyshack sitting at the top of Mount Bonnell in Austin. This place represents simplicity through its’ cold beer, pool tables, an old-style jukebox, and even a scenic view out into the hills. Dry Creek is true to its’ 1953 roots, even with everything else evolving around it, this place refuses to be anything more than a great place to have beer with friends.
Yellow Jacket Social Club
You don’t have to make new friends, but if you wanted to this would be the place to go. Inside this beautifully decorated Western bar, lays the renditions of a modern take of saloons. Reclaimed steel, railroad spikes, swinging doors and other Western decorum makes up this social spot. This place is made for the rugged socialites who plan too do more exploring and dancing, coupled with Latin-American food items, creating a unique experience for any newcomer. Bring your friends, your family, hell even your dog; this place wants it all!
