Stop Talking! I Need My Coffee First! San Antonio
Best Coffee Spots in San Antonio:
San Antonio is just a pool of exciting coffee places, with more opening up each new day. To start your morning off just right, I bring you some of my favorite coffee centers in downtown San Antonio. Whether you travel or just browse around this area, one of these places will draw you in with their delicacies.
As always, there may be some affiliate links that provide me with some money if you click on them or purchase something. Not many, but I want you to have the ability to buy premium beans/brews without having to search far; Enjoy!
Halycon Coffee/Bar/Lounge
This place has it all! Coffee, Drinks, Comfortable Lounge, and Enthusiastic Staff are the type of things you’ll find at Halycon. It is the perfect spot for a mid-day outing with friends; serving a variety of hot chocolate surrounded by engaging board games. It has Happy Hour every Weekday, and they party till around 2am each day. Come check out this spot if you enjoy the night-owl life!
Rosella Coffee
Rosella Coffee prides itself on being more than a typical espresso shop. Focusing on a family-oriented atmosphere, this is a gathering place for the friends and family alike. It plays off of the laid-back furniture setting, with a decent lounge area and very personable groupings. I recommend this place for people to bring their classmates to work on group projects or simple presentations.
Olmos Perk
Using locally roasted beans, beer, wine and baked goods is how Olmos Perk operates their coffee place. This coffeehouse utilizes both pre-modern furniture and decorum to beautifully design a floor layout that seems almost vintage. Friendly staff and good food puts this place on the list, although the centralized location is another Perk to this place.
Indy Coffee Co.
Indy Coffee Co. are true masters when it comes to crafting brews. They use an old method of brewing coffee called Brooklyn Parlor Coffee in their creations. But that wasn’t the only reason to make this list. They capture the true essence of Southern Texas by decorating the interior with many of Texas’ iconography; this includes cow skulls, traditional flagging, re-purposed beer can fixture, and much more. If you want to truly have a ‘Texan’ experience, stop by this place on your way to the rodeo.
La Taza
This hipster-styled place is mixed with a Mexican restaurant; that’s the best way to describe the pattern layout of La Taza. This spot uses locally sourced baked goods along with freshly roasted beans to create their menus. Calm and quiet is how I would describe my experience with this location. The weekends are the best for this coffeehouse, when you can stop by in the morning and go directly nearby to the shops.
